i've hit a real heater last few days at rush, im finding patience is key as people hand you stacks and you dont have to fight for every pot... ive had people shove A8 into my AA preflop and calling off stacks with 78 on an 8 high flop in 4bet pots - so funny!
staking is going well im about $8 down but have $80 in active stakes and im confident of profits in all of them!
mrs is working tonight so im planning a good 3-4 hour session on the cash tables, ive been put of mtts recently due to the retardation of players you face, i hate playing 3-4 hours to min cash cos someones ace rag beats your queens etc.
ill leave with this fun hand, i was thinking how can i get paid off with my quads....easy to slowplay quads i guess so funny that he calls with ace high on the end!

Monday Update
Had a bit of a terrible day yesterday, dropped about $80 mainly at Rush NLH, reviewing the hands there was a lot of bad luck e.g. ak losing on an AKJ flop to AA and 10s10d losing on an a low all diamond flop to AdQc…

Secondly I know this is terrible, for a start I have a double stack (by my halfstacking standards!) but the thing is I seemed to be convinced that the shortie could have an thing from a small pair upwards and then I got it into my head that the other guy was just squeezing – just a total mess, im very surprised that AA or KK didn’t show up so I wasn’t in awful shape but as usual when I have AK and the villain has QQ the Q always flops!!.
Made a bit on staking and had a mate transfer me £20 he owed over Full Tilt so this is shown in figures…. Need to grind loads this week and try and get some of this bonus cleared!

Staking
so ive been doing a load of staking recently, by going to the thread on 2+2 there are various players offering cuts of there tournament play.
i've been a small winner so far, you'll see from my stats that im a mighty $3 down but i have paid for 3 active stakes so far over over $60 so its been going well,im going to keep a track of my stakes from now on and the 3 active ones are -
in fact i have just checked and the Snaffler has double my investment so im up in staking and back over $1k in the bankroll!!

what makes it even funnier is that some people have been given only $20 - not sure why i qualify for more? maybe as i withdrew all my money?
its good motivation for me to grind now, i have around $870 in the roll but also about $50 tied up in various stakes...
will deffo start updating this blog more, i need to post details of my stakes, hands from the tables and what ever bollocks comes to mind

Update
Following what everyone is calling “Black Friday” I withdrew my whole bankroll from Full Tilt in case it wasn’t safe, however the message from them is that as long as you are not from good old USA you are safe so I will be re-depositing tonight!
I cant make Iron Man this month so im just gonna dip my toes in the water and play what I feel like, I will continue with the staking through 2p2 and generally take it easy..
Next month ill have to try and get back to grinding, my figures so far aren’t too bad, I know I can beat microstakes so I just need to play at the right times and not be a tilt monkey.
And for the record I should not be playing when

Im Tilting - especially MTTs (take a break after a beat) as I just start random shoving
Need to update this blog more as well and get more active on commenting on the millions of blogs I follow!

the US government have shut down Full Tilt, PokerStars and UB for money laundering and other charges......a lot of people are saying withdraw money before it is seized!!

Out of Action
Exactly a week ago my internet died to finally kill off my rather sporadic poker play since my tilt meltdown mid way through last month… however after a weeks break I think im ready to start playing again and looking forward to getting on it!!
A nice bonus as well has happened as ive got £400 spare of which im going to deposit $250 into my bankroll….this would make my starting point for the riverbed diaries at $750…
Bankroll is about $830 or so which isn’t far from my happy home of having a $1k bankroll and mass multitabling $25 or $50nl shortstacked…for this reason ive re-deposited the whole roll back onto Full Tilt – hopefully im mature enough to not head to $400 rush after a couple of bad beats…
